We are a team of young aspiring engineers who have strong female leadership. We dream of winning the FTC competition to prove that women can win too.
In a work place with the majority being men it can be difficult to feel like you ‘fit in’. Our team are split male and female and though we may only be 12-13 years of age we hope we can inspire younger generations of girls to compete. The majority of our leadership roles are lead by females who are incredibly talented and successful in and outside of the classroom. The workshop is a place we can hype each other up and continue to contribute and pursue our dreams.
Our team is very diverse, inspiring us to support anyone in need, especially women.
As a woman I have always been discriminated against. In the past my contribution to the team has been undermined by the male management several times, who took my work as their own. I have now stepped up as the manager of my team, and I have every intention of leading my team to success after all my hard work.
